From the 1st of March we will be commencing our Call Out for Proposals period for this year’s Critical Animals festival and announcing our theme for 2016. During this period you will be VERY able, and even encouraged (mad as it seems) to send in all of your salacious thoughts and artistic musings for us to pour over as we chose the most elegant and well-thought out symposium program for this year’s participation.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! In fact, no matter where you are on the Australian mainland we are giving you the option to head to your nearest state capital or festival HQ in Newcastle, to gather up all our gems of wisdom about what to expect and how best to present your work to improve your chances of selection.
So check out the below dates and locations and come along for an evening of discussion, interaction and networking with your fellow artists –
Canberra: Thurs 3 March, 6pm – 8pm – Gorman Arts Centre
Sydney: Mon 7 March, 6pm – 7pm – NSW Writers Centre
PERTH RESCHEDULED: Tue 8 March, 6pm – 7pm – CIA Studios
Melbourne: Wed 9 March, 5pm – 7pm – RMIT
Adelaide: Wed 9 March, 6pm – 7pm – SA Writers Centre
Brisbane: Wed 9 March, 5:30pm – 7:30pm – Metro Arts
Newcastle: Wed 16 March, 6pm – 7:30pm – Pachamama House
The info sessions will be covering all TiNA Festivals including the Critical Animals Symposium, National Young Writers Festival & CRACK Theatre Festival so no matter if you are a writer, artist or performer this is the place you should be!
We look forward to seeing you there!
