- Family friendly
- Networking
Producer Network is kind of like a self-help group. It’s a chance to meet early career and independent arts producers, and a space to share knowledge and experience. Come along to hear short provocations from producers just like you, followed by a casual Q&A, great chats and a few drinks. This time round we’ll be taking about caring for those you work with; looking after the emotional, physical and artistic needs of the artists, production crew and partners who make the magic happen. Producer Network is led by Lady Producer Gang. We started this Network because we were looking for informal peer support in our work and careers – so what better way to get it than create the context ourselves! Also, we’re into conversation, community and finding new ways of doing things – so the Network is designed to be flexible, responsive and full of good chats and inventive ideas. Producer Network events will be run three or four times a year across Australia, aligning to different festivals and major events.
