Make! Art! Now! Call out for Critics!

Make! Art! Now! Call out for Critics!

We are looking for submissions!

Partnering with Runway Conversations, Critical Animals is looking for critics who will respond to the Make! Art! Now! performance at This is Not Art 2016. Working with the Critical Animals and Runway Conversations team, critics will develop their responses to be published  on this new online platform in weeks following the Festival.

Critics are open to respond creatively through the medium of their choosing. Each critic will be paid by Runway Conversations $200 for their contribution.

Inspired by the collective discussion on myth across TiNA, Make! Art! Now! is a collaboration between Crack Theatre Festival, National Young Writers Festival and Critical Animals. A tribute to the ‘fast art’ world in which many emerging artists create, the project sees the rapid development of writing, rehearsal, performance and critique, culminating on Sunday 2 October, where the work in progress will be presented to TiNA audiences and Make! Art! Now! critics.

We are now accepting submissions from critics who wish to participate. We are open to essays, presentations, poems, musical compositions, films or any method or medium that can be presented digitally.  Please forward submissions/inquiries to by Thursday 29 September.

Critics will be notified by Friday 30 September.
