The pages are falling off the calendar and the date is nearing. Critical Animals 2013 is upon us! The CA team have been madly working away to deliver a spectacular program for our tenth festival.
We’ve done a bit of sprucing and primping to get ready for this year’s fest and we’re thrilled to show off our new look. For our Tenth Birthday we’re sporting a fancy new logo and a brand spanking new website which you can feast on, here. A very special thanks to Evelyn Kwok (logo) and Lucy Randall (website) for their hours of hard work to give us a long-awaited makeover.
The program is go! Time to start planning your TiNA schedule. We’ve got everything from poetics to mischief, our exhibition Desiring Machines, creative cartography to the question on everybody’s minds: What The Fuck Australia? A collective comedown from this political annus horribilis.
We’re all grown up and it is time TO PARTY. We’re inviting you to our besparkled short short wearing, face painted, dance jamming big bad rad Spirit Animal Party. Start thinking now about your Spirit Animal and how to make it happen. Costumes and ridiculousness are mandatory. The party will celebrate a decade of CA and launch our beautiful journal Critical Animalia. Fun Machine, Finnigan and Brother, Brandy Alexander, The Tenderbuttons and R. Electrique are going to all be a part of our wild night of celebrations. From 8 pm, Friday the 4th of October at The Terrace Bar. See you there.
If you haven’t already make sure you book your accommodation and get your ride lined up soon, TiNA is all about the adventure and it is time to get it sorted!
Can’t wait to see all you wonderful critters in ONE MONTH’S TIME.
